Job Description:

We are hiring and looking for CNA's, HHA, and PCA's that is Compassionate, Intelligent, Smart, Sassy, Hard-working, Talented and devoted to our clients. An individual who, under professional supervision, provides assistance with ADL's and IADL's in the clients residence.

following shift available:

Monday thru Fri: 12 am to 8 am

Monday, Friday, & Sat: 8 am to 4 pm

Responsibilities

• Bathing (tub, shower, bed)
• Oral hygiene
• grooming and hair care
• skin and nail care
• Assist with eating, dressing, walking, and toileting.
• Remind client to take medications.
• Positioning and turning of clients that cannot assist self in bed and chair.
• Eliminations
• Homemaking- assists with:
• Meal planning and preparation in accordance with complex and modified diets
• Feeding the client
• Linen change (occupied and unoccupied)
• Laundry, Client's only
• Light housekeeping; washing dishes; clean kitchen, dust & vacuum, only those rooms the client uses.
• List needed supplies and grocery shopping.
• Follow universal precautions whenever giving any aspect of client services.
• Perform ONLY those functions specified for each individual client on the service plan.
• Maintain confidentiality
• Respond to the physical, emotional and development needs of clients

Experience/Education

- Must be able to speak, read, write & communicate effectively in English and meet one of the following qualifications:

- Satisfactory completion of a nurse aide or personal care aide training education program approved by the VA board of nursing.

- Have certification as a nurse aide issue by the Virginia Board of Nursing.

-Must have current CPR Certification, Valid Driver License, and must be able to pass a criminal background check

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem, PRN

Pay: $17.45 - $18.51 per hour
