Internship Job Initiative
Since 2000, Frozen Ropes National Training Center in Chester, NY has provided more than 100 internship assignments for college students in the Northeast. The majority of these opportunities are within marketing, business, finance, video, graphic design, landscaping, and sports related majors. These opportunities range from 15-40+ hours a week, both on-site, at our National Training Center, and off-site, at marketing and sports events.
Interns will assist with research, business operations, marketing, promotion, event execution – including tournaments and camps, facility management, and other tasks to suit their goals and major.
The objective is for interns to be directly involved with the upper-level workings of our business. Students will be exposed to the real decision-making processes and engaged in projects that utilize their skills, abilities, and enthusiasm. The internship program is designed to be an educational experience and students are expected to work with their college/universities to develop learning objectives and obtain academic credit, certification, or recognition.
The duration of our internships is between six and 12 weeks, but internships may be extended depending on the needs of our business and your availability.
With more than 20 years in business (and more than 10 franchises), we have taken our game to the next level. With the help of our expanded sales and marketing team, the Frozen Ropes business model has given our locations the best of both worlds; next-level instruction with an industry-best business and operations model.
This internship aims to enhance your professional portfolio and contribute to your future career goals. Below, we outline the goals, objectives, responsibilities, and keys to success for your internship.
Each position will entail shadowing a professional in the field of chosen position. Goal setting and training will take place the first week and move on to supervised individual tasks and assignments. Our goal for our Interns is to instill confidence and passion in their study and craft. We will challenge them to expand their abilities and apply the knowledge they already bring to the table. With practice and repetition there will be more independence to take the reins on their own.
