GeoTechnician- Onsite in Willcox, AZ

Position is Temporary Project (May 6 - 9)

Pay: $30 per hour, Per Diem $60 per day

POSITION OVERVIEW

Geological Technician knowing their way around a core shed. Safe handling of core trays and core. Understanding of core labelling and record keeping procedures. Taking direction from geologists/managers with respect to laying out core for logging and review.

Other qualifications/requirements:

• conduct their own transportation to and from the Wilcox, AZ
• minimum Class D driver's licence.
• provide their own PPE (eye protection, ear protection, safety boots, work gloves)
• wear appropriate attire for working safely in core shed and outdoors (i.e. walking to drill sites)
• physical fitness - may have to walk to remote drill sites

Ideally will have (but not necessary given limited scope of the engagement):

• MSHA training
• Extended defensive driver draining
• Basic First Aid Training

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
