As a Direct Care Staff for CORTZ Services, LLC, we have positions available in Akron, Barberton, & Northfield. Competitive Pay-rate is $14.00 - $20.00 per hour depending upon experience, and current certifications like CPR or medication. No experience, it is not a problem. We train you and get you set up to begin your new career path. We are looking for passionate caring individuals to join our team to enhance the quality of life and quality of care of individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Essential Duties include, maintaining a therapeutic relationship with the residents, maintains order, cleanliness, cooking, and safety of the physical environment in the home, completing all required documentation for treatment data and service provision, and transportation as the individuals need for appointments, errands, and community outings. Must conduct all job-related activities in compliance with relevant Ohio statutes, clinic policies, and procedures. Initiates and maintains positive relationships with individuals served, co-workers, and supervisors, and environmental demands.

Written application, personal interview, criminal background checks - Federal and State, Federal exclusion screen, drug testing, reference checks, validate previous work history, validate educational achievements, verify current certifications/professional license, validate driver's license.

Federal Exclusion Screening: Before the personal interview process all applicants must pass the federal exclusion screening. Applicants who do not pass the federal exclusion screening will no longer be considered for employment.
