CNC Machinist

We are a job shop CNC turning and boring mills, welding, and fabrication shop in our 62nd year of business. We manufacture a wide variety of components but specialize in stainless steel vacuum chambers, pressure vessels, and related components. We work a 4-day work week with overtime on Friday.

Responsibilities of the CNC Machinist 

• Set up and run their own jobs.
• Programs are written offline but may need editing and optimizing.
• Knowledge of CNC lathes, CNC horizontal boring mills, CNC vertical boring lathes and CNC bridge mills with B axis and Fanuc controls are pluses. 
• Be able to use all types of measuring tools to make a quality part.

Qualifications of the Welder/Fabricator

• Minimum 1 year of CNC mills or lathes or graduated from a known machining program. 
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems is a plus.
