Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join Art Kids Summer Camp 2024. The ideal candidate will have a background or interest in early childhood education, art, and a love for working with young children. This position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of preschool-aged students through art making.

Art Kids is a small summer camp on the mainline. You will be in charge of 8-10 kids ages 3-4.

Responsibilities:

- Develop fun and appropriate lessons for ages 3-4.

- Create a nurturing and stimulating environment

- Provide individualized attention to each student

- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote a positive classroom atmosphere

- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure the best possible outcomes for students

- Arrive on time to greet parents and their kiddos.

Experience:

- Previous experience in childcare, early childhood education, or related field

- Experience working with preschool-aged children in an educational setting

- Ability to educate and engage young learners through creative teaching methods

- Interest and knowledge of art and facilitating art lessons to young children.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 per week
