Forefront Global Logistics is seeking creative and service-minded Account Executives to join their team in the Elk Grove Village, IL office. We are looking for previous Account Executive/Freight Broker experience!

The Account Executive will serve as an intermediary between our customers and freight carriers to secure the transportation of goods, negotiating the contracts with carriers as a means to optimize profitability whilst providing high quality service. They are to focus on acquisitioning new accounts through cold calls, emails and visiting prospective customers. To be successful in this role you need to have strong problem solving skills, written and verbal communication, as well as staying customer focused.

Responsibilities:

  • Negotiating with customers and carriers for best freight service prices.
  • Manage the movement of customer’s goods, tracking status of load to ensure timely pick up and delivery.
  • Generate leads and attract new prospects.
  • Collaborating with customers, dispatchers and carriers on the status of their shipments, managing scheduled collections and drop offs, as well as assisting with other inquiries.
  • Staying proactive in problem solving if/when issues arise.
  • Inputting tendered loads in software programs.

Qualifications:

  • Work experience in Logistics Brokerage preferred but not required. FGL team will ensure proper training.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Prior sales experience preferred.

Benefits:

  • $50k - $150k Cmpensation
  • Paid Time Off
