Parts Manager/Service Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated parts manager/service assistant to become a part of our growing team! This position will act as the liaison between our company and our customers. The parts manager/service assistant responsibilities include ensuring the customer’s needs are filled, answering phone requests, coordinating transactions between the company and the customer, and helping with stocking parts & research, overseeing parts inventory, supplying parts to the mechanics.

To be a successful parts manager/service assistant, you should possess excellent customer service and communication skills.  You should also have the ability to translate customers’ non-technical descriptions and relate them in a comprehensive and thorough report to the service team. 

Parts Manager/Service Assistant Responsibilities:

● Part Lookup/Research

● Managing & Keeping an organized parts inventory

● Ordering Parts

● Assisting with customer parts requests

● Working with mechanic’s to understand parts needed for repairs

● Developing strong customer relationships through the successful management of products 

    and service delivery

● Maintaining computerized customer profile information

● Meeting with customers to discuss their requirements and relaying those requirements to the 

    Service Manager

● Contacting customers in the case of additional work to relay the details and extra costs.

● Checking warranties and insurance

● Releasing repaired equipment to the customers and explaining the work done and costs 

    accrued to the customers to ensure their satisfaction and repeat business

Parts Manager/Service Assistant Requirements:

● Work experience and product knowledge

● Computer literacy and knowledge of office software programs

● Excellent communication and customer service skills

● Strong record-keeping skills

● The ability to understand and relate technical issues to the service team from customers’ 

     non-technical descriptions

 

Job Type: Full-Time

Day Range: Monday thru Friday 8:30 am-5:00 pm & some Saturdays 8:00 am-12:00 noon

 

Shift-8 hour

Compensation: Starting $22 or Depending on you skill level. 

Expected hours: 40 per week
