Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about oral health and dedicated to providing exceptional patient care. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in our practice by performing a variety of tasks to support our patients' dental hygiene needs.
Office is open Monday 9-6, Tuesday 8-6, Wednesday and Thursday 7-4 and CLOSED on Friday/Saturday/Sunday

Responsibilities:

• Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings, scaling, and root planing, to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth.
• Conduct comprehensive dental exams, including assessing patients' oral health, taking X-rays, and screening for oral cancer and other dental conditions.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for maintaining optimal dental health.
• Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants to protect patients' teeth from decay.
• Assist the dentist during procedures, including preparing and sterilizing instruments and materials and administering local anesthetic
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with other members of the dental team to ensure a seamless patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Valid Dental Hygienist license for the state of Utah.
• Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior experience working as a Dental Hygienist preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
