Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Farmstand Sales Associate to join our team and sell our exquisite succulents at local farm markets. The ideal candidate will be passionate about plants, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. As a Farmstand Sales Associate, you will be responsible for loading/unloading succulents, maintaining a visually appealing display, and providing exceptional customer service to drive sales and cultivate positive customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload succulents from our inventory for display at the farm market.
• Set up and arrange succulents in an attractive and organized manner to enhance their visual appeal.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and approachable manner, offering assistance and guidance on succulent selection.
• Educate customers on succulent care and maintenance, providing tips and recommendations for optimal growth.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the farmstand area throughout the day.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the management team.
• Assist in packing and packaging succulents for customer purchases.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive working environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in a plant nursery or similar environment, is preferred but not required.
• Passion for plants, particularly succulents, and a willingness to learn about different varieties and care requirements.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with customers.
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Physical stamina to lift and carry boxes of succulents and stand for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
