If you are that one-in-a-thousand professional, as a Vitality Investments Retirement Planning Associate, you’ll play a vital role in assisting clients with their financial needs, while also contributing to the strategic direction and growth of the firm.  This is an exceptional opportunity for the individual who is results-focused, eager to learn and driven to have a meaningful impact. And the beauty of this opportunity is that you really need not currently have financial planning experience or expertise.

 

Why Financial Expertise Isn’t Required:

 

We are far more interested in who you are rather than what you know technically or what licenses you currently have (or don’t have). We care – first and foremost – about your work ethic and your integrity as well as your attention to detail, flexibility and dedication to genuine customer service.  Don't worry about the technical stuff.  We'll teach you everything you need to know about the financial aspects of the business. And, if you really are a one-in-a-thousand, you’ll discover we're pretty darn good teachers.

 

And This Is NOT a Sales Position:

 

We have an entire marketing team that does an excellent job connecting us with our IDEAL client. We conduct very popular and well received educational events to educate those high probability leads. No one in our firm does any form of cold calling. Our potential clients call us. We are not looking for you to work the phones to generate leads. We are looking for a one-in-a-thousand professional who will help us serve those high potential leads and convert them into exceptionally satisfied clients.

 

Having said all of that, it is the reality of the world we live in that, in one sense, “we are all selling all of the time”. And we very much embrace that perspective. It's just that in our firm, we do our best selling by delivering unmatched services that truly exceed our clients’ expectations. We leave the annoying cold calling to our competitors.

 

 

 

So, What WILL the One-In-A-Thousand Associate Be Doing?

Our new one-in-a thousand associate will bring value to Vitality Investments: 

 

  • Providing exceptional client service, assisting each client through every step of our planning and implementation processes.
  • Collaborating with core team members to help gather and analyze each client’s financial data and then propose creative investment strategies and optimal client portfolios.
  • Participating in the firm’s strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Staying informed about emerging industry trends to provide clients with the most relevant and up-to-date retirement planning financial advice.  NOTE: We are very big on continuing education and professional development.  You need to be as well.
  • Assisting in the creation and development of the marketing teams’ promotions. After all, we are the ones who are closest to our clients.

 

What IS Required:

 

So, if financial knowledge and experience isn't required, then what does it mean to be a one-in-a-thousand candidate? We take every one of the following candidate requirements very seriously:

  • Afterall,  we are talking about people’s life savings here.

    • Understands the emotions of others  and demonstrate a willingness to support them. Pays attention to non-verbal cues.  “Can read the room”.
    • Adjusts her your tone and approach to different situations and with different individuals

    • Actively engages the[CT1]  audience
    • Follows-up on conversations to ensure clarity and understanding.

  2. Upon review and agreement that you could be the right fit, we'll reach out to schedule a brief phone interview.
  3. Following the phone interview, if mutual interest persists, we'll extend an invitation to a half-day, multi-candidate orientation and screening event. Here, we'll delve deeper into each other, our company, and the potential opportunities awaiting you.
  4. Should both parties maintain interest post-orientation, we'll request three professional references to better understand your work ethic and skills. We think this part of the process is especially important.
  5. Upon satisfactory reference checks, if mutual interest persists, we will: 
    a) Extend a tentative offer. 
    b) Invite you to participate in an intensive week-long orientation and immersion program, for which you will be compensated.  If your schedule doesn’t allow for a week-long orientation, we can achieve the same goal over two weekends.
  6. Upon completion of the orientation and immersion program and mutual agreement to move forward, we'll finalize your start date.
