Important Leadership Characteristics
Location + Opportunity
Restoration Church is a restorative community, on a simple mission of "Empowering all people to love + follow Jesus." We are a multi-generational, diverse, inclusive, and creative church of around 200 adults and 100 kids and students, located in the Rancho Bernardo area of North County San Diego. We have a clear vision, a healthy culture, strong leadership, modern music, a great facility, and a healthy budget. As a "Church for the Rest of Us," we are progressive, affirming of our LGBTQ siblings, and seek to be a safe space for people all across the spiritual spectrum to experience radical belonging, explore faith, and find freedom in Jesus.
We are located in suburban North County San Diego. The population of San Diego is 1.3 million with over 3 million residing in the county. San Diego is an amazing and diverse city full of dreamers, innovators, and entrepreneurs from all over the country. The city is one of the most desired places to live in the US, but San Diego is regularly listed as one of the nation's leading cities with the least amount of people engaged in a local church. An estimated 850,000 people in San Diego are not part of a church. There are over 25,000 elementary school-aged students and their families who live within 15 minutes of our location, and who have no connection to a local church. The need and the opportunity are great!
