StretchLab Shorewood is seeking experienced Exercises Science Majors, Kinesiology Majors, Athletic Training Majors, Personal Trainers, Physical Therapists, Rehab Technicians, Massage Therapists, or Dance/Yoga/Pilates instructors to join our team of Flexologists! You will be working one-on-one with our members and clients to deliver assisted stretch services in our beautiful, open studio environment. If this is you, apply now! StretchLab's proprietary Flexologist training program quickly established our brand as the industry leader in offering one-on-one assisted stretching. Upon hiring, we will pay for your Flexologist training program, and provide you with clients!

POSITION:

We are looking for qualified candidates for our Flexologist team to deliver 1-on-1 assisted stretching services to enhance our client's day-to-day lives. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about health & wellness and determined to help others achieve a higher quality of life.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions while motivating clients and managing client long-term programming
• Deliver top tier stretching experiences
• Book client’s weekly recurring appointments
• Update client notes consistently
• Maximize client utilization of sessions/membership by booking follow up appointments, renewing memberships, outreach to lapsed members
• Ensure safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations
• Clean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given time

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MUST have a prior credential, certification, degree in the following areas:

Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist / PTA, Dance, Pilates, Yoga Instructor, Health and Wellness Major, Fitness coach, kinesiology degree, certification or relevant degree. If you do not have any of the following, you will not be considered for the position.

• Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with clients (preferred, not required)
• Fantastic communication skills and exudes empathy
• Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve goals
• Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable and adhere to our attendance policies
• Must be available to go through our Flexologist Training Program, which includes 20 hours of online tutorials and 2 days of in-person/hands-on training
• Must be able to commit to 20+ hours per week and at least 1 weekend shift

• This is an hourly position with a base rate + service pay for sessions rendered.

Job Types: Part-time, Full-time

Salary: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4-8 hour shifts
• Part-time
• Up to 30 hours, full-time status available upon review
