Bellevue Sunrise Childcare is expanding and looking for Toddler classroom Teacher assistants. We are a child care center (Christian value based) located in the Bellevue Downtown area. Our  children's ages range from 13 months to 5 years. There are four classrooms, one classroom is 13 months to 24 months, two classrooms are 24 months to 3 years old, one is 3 to 5 years old. Teacher and children ratio is around 1:6. Our childcare's main languages are Mandarin/ English / Cantonese. We welcome other languages too. We are specifically looking for candidates for the toddler classroom and preschool classroom. The responsibilities will include 

• Consistently monitor and supervise children to ensure their safety
• Positively and warmly communicate with children and build relationship
• Providing support for other current teachers
• Monitoring and assist children during different activities (table activity, outdoor time, circle time, snack and lunch, nap time)
• Diaper changing or assist toilet training
• Preparing / Serve snacks and meals  
• Assist current teachers to maintain a safe and positive environment
• Assisting children into sleep
• Organize classrooms and clean up, disinfect toys 

JOB REQUIREMENTS (we gladly help you go through all the steps if you don’t have):

• High school diploma
• Create a Merit account (required by DCYF for all workers related to children)
• Criminal history and background check
• TB test results required prior to employment
• First Aid and CPR certification (6 hour onsite)
• Food Handler Permit (One hour online)
• Blood Borne Pathogen training (2 hour online)
• Completion of the initial 30 hr. STARS training (within six months of hire)
• Acquire a minimum of 10 hours of training each year
• Covid vaccine and proof of MMR

Work time: Full time: 8:40 am-5:40 pm 

                   Part time: 9:30 am-1:30 pm or 1pm, 3:10-5:40pm 

• Salary: $20-$23/hour, depending on experience
• Holiday pay: After half year (for full time position)
• Education Chance: Financially support to get Early childhood education certificate or degree
• 401K (full time, after one year)

The candidate must be loving, patient, creative & energetic!
