Boxbar is are seeking an experienced Retail Associate to join our team! 

About Boxbar:

Boxbar is a specialty wedding boutique located in Old City, Philadelphia. We're focused on creating unique, fun, and easy-to-shop solutions for all the gifting events surrounding weddings. Our core collection consists of curated boxes for bridesmaid proposal gifts, engagement gifts and bridesmaid thank you gifts. We also offer a build-your-own box as well as many other personalized gift items. In addition to gifting, we also run crafting workshops and private parties and events, ranging from bachelorette to birthdays. Responsibilities:

• Help with day-to-day store operations
• Assist with creation/collection of content for Boxbar social media channels
• Lead and participate in store events
• Use in-store equipment to customize products
• Ensures merchandise on selling floor is replenished appropriately

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of sales experience in a retail store
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Experienced with cash handling and a POS system
• Positive, willing to learn and grow, and motivated to perform in fast-paced environments
• Highly adaptable with an impeccable ability to multitask
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience within the bridal industry
• Experience in a specialty retail environment
• A love for getting crafty or working with your hands.
• Adobe Illustrator knowledge
• Experience with sewing, embroidery and/or Cricut.
• Previous experience using Shopify strongly preferred.
