Position Title:               Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate:                      $23.00-$26.00/Hour Based on Experience

Reports To:                  Maintenance Supervisor

General Summary:

Responsible for general aspects of maintenance required to maintain the interior and exterior of the properties managed by Kleemax Properties. at multiple site locations. The maintenance technician works directly with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure work orders, apartment turns, preventative maintenance, etc. are done in a safe and timely manner. Conducts business according to the Kleemax Properties Mission, Vision, Values and Goals. 

Essential Job Functions:

1.         Responsible for Maintaining the Interior of apartment units and common areas of buildings. 

Responsible for the following tasks (others may be added):

1. Completes all work orders in a timely manner
2. Completes all make-ready apartments
3. Keeps maintenance areas clean and orderly
4. Minor plumbing repairs
5. Minor electrical repairs
6. Checks and replaces AC Filters, and Smoke Alarms at regular intervals
7. Paints when necessary
8. Moves furniture
9. Delivers items when needed

2. Responsible for Maintaining the Exterior of apartment buildings owned by Kleemax Properties.

       1. Takes out Garbage and Recycling Cans at all properties weekly

       2. Tours grounds regularly to make sure there are no drain issues or trash

       3. Removes snow and treats sidewalks and driveways for snow and ice as needed

Kleemax Properties Maintenance Technician may be given additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Hours

Monday through Friday, eight hours daily. Hours to be agreed upon by the Maintenance Supervisor. Required to be “on call”, with a rotating schedule with other maintenance staff.
