Home Health Aide/Certified Nursing Assistant
Essential Functions:
Assist Patients with bathing, shampooing, shaving, and oral hygiene
Plans and prepares normal and modified meals
Assists with activities of daily living
Patient Medication reminders
Assists with range of motion
Follows assignments as instructed by the plan of care
HHA/CNA :
prepares, and serves meals
Performs routine housekeeping tasks for the patient only. This may include but is not limited to dusting, cleaning floors, mopping, washing dishes, maintaining clean bathroom, bedroom, living room, and kitchen areas.

Errands
All HHA/CNA with the exception of those with STNA licenses must complete written and skills testing
HHA/CNA must meet one of the following criteria:
OBRA certification including evidence of being current on the registry.
Medicare competency training with evidence of not having had a lapse of employment as an Aide in a Twenty-four-month period.
Sixty-hour training course for HHA/CNA. Twenty-hour training course for Homemakers. Which includes successful evidence of written testing and skills testing which includes evidence of return demonstration.
60-hour training course evidence must include:
Training site information
Date of training
Number of hours
Instruction materials
Subjects covered
Qualification of trainer/tester
Signature of trainer/tester
One-year supervised employment experience as an Aide with successful evidence of written testing and skills testing which includes evidence of return demonstration.
COALA home health training with successful evidence of written testing and skills testing which includes evidence of return demonstration.
Certified Vocational Program with successful evidence of written testing and skills testing which includes evidence of return demonstration.
Reports to RN and Scheduling coordinator
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
