One of the area’s fastest growing accounting and bookkeeping services firm located in the Doylestown area is seeking a full and part-time Accountant to join our team. We are looking for a team member who has a passion to provide high-quality accounting and bookkeeping services to our clients. 

 

Some of the essential duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Accounting system setup – chart of accounts, item lists etc.
  • Accounts payable/accounts receivable management
  • General understanding of Taxation
  • Bank, credit card, loan reconciliations
  • Preparation and understanding of financial statements 
  • Job Costing
  • General ledger maintenance
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Position requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required, accounting concentration a plus
  • At least 4 years of accounting experience
  • Outstanding communication skills, a positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Consulting experience a plus
  • The ability to work independently and a willingness to travel to client offices in and around the Philadelphia, Bucks and Montgomery County areas
  • Detail oriented and extremely well organized to accurately and precisely meet deadlines
