Full Job Description:

We are looking for a part-time licensed massage therapist to work as an independent contractor.

We have provided health care to Bay Area residents for over 22 years, with chiropractic, acupuncture, and massage services. We include the room, lobby, front desk services, website and advertising, so you can focus in-person on your patients as provided. This posting is for a part-time massage therapist, to build their own practice within our facility, with our healthcare provider team in-person!

General Responsibilities:

• Be professional, reliable, and committed
• Provide 15, 30, 60 and 90 minute massage services and body treatments
• Discuss the benefits of massage therapy + what’s expected after treatment
• Customization of treatment for patient needs and articulate to patient & support staff
• Maintaining cleanliness of employee and guest areas
• Stocking and cleanliness of treatment rooms and guest areas (i.e. Replace bedding on massage table after each patient, fold towels, clean massage waiting area, inform management when low on massage supply. Etc.)
• Recommend at Home therapies
• Document soap notes in clear and concise manner
• Understand and deliver on the documentation requirements of billing insurance

Qualifications:

• Basic computer proficiency for medical documentation
• Current California State Massage Therapy License (Required)
• You must have Liability Insurance
• At least 3 years experience performing massage
• Knowledge of a variety of massage modalities
• Have good time management
• Ability to commute to work for schedule shift
• Proficiency in English both written and verbal (Required)
• Bi-lingual in Spanish, Tagalog, or Chinese (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Massage License (Required)
• Liability Insurance (Required)

• Mondays, 10am - 5pm
• Wednesdays, 10am - 5pm
• Fridays, 10am - 5pm
• Saturdays, 9am - 3pm

Salary:

• Based on Experience (To be discussed during interview)
• 25-30 Hours a Week
