Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Lead Toddler Teacher position at West Chester Christian Early Learning Center, located in West Chester, OH. The Lead Toddler Teacher will work with a co- teacher to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating educational environment for young children aged 18-28 months. Tasks include but are not limited to assisting with developing and implementing lesson plans, assisting with supervision and interaction during playtime, maintaining open communication with parents/guardians, and participating in staff meetings and ongoing professional development opportunities.

The hours for this position are 8:30-5:30

$ 15.00 + per hour to start

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with young children
• Willingness to share the love of Jesus with children through prayer, chapel services, etc.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices
• Ability to work collaboratively as a team member with other teachers and staff
• Dedication to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment for all children
• CPR and First Aid certification, Communicable Disease, and Child Abuse Training (or willingness to obtain)
• BCI and FBI Background checks required
• Employee Medical Statement for childcare signed by your physician
• Familiarity with Ohio state licensing regulations for early childhood education is a plus
