Looking for Certified Veterinary Technician with an active Illinois license to join our team as a treatment floor shift lead.

Responsibilities:

Obtaining radiographs and using appropriate personal protective equipment

Phlebotomy and catheter placement

Client education and communication

Patient handling

General invoicing

Medication administration

Dental scaling and dental radiology

Assisting with surgery

Anesthesia monitoring

Additional Performing laboratory testing including in house blood tests

Relaying information between clients and veterinarians

Foster learning of less experienced staff members

Delegate and manage others on the treatment floor effectively

Other duties deemed appropriate by management

Requirements:

Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic with knowledge of basic animal care and medical terminology is required
