We provide full frame off restorations, mechanical, interior, collision, body/fabrication/powder-coating and paint services all under one roof.
We are very busy, with a backlog of projects and new clients waiting in line. Looking for skilled technician and craftsmen with proven, professional experience that truly care about their work, care about producing as a team and have a passion for classic cars.
Specifically, we are currently looking for an experienced older vehicle FINISHER. Ninety percent of our work is custom car building for 1995 and earlier vehicles. You must be able to assess and determine mechanical repairs without a computer under the hood. We provide full brake and fuel line modifications, frame swaps, pull and install motors and tranny’s after being rebuilt, heater and a/c modifications and/or upgrades, steering column modifications, new dash installations – just to name a few.
Expectations of Job Performance:
Project Management:
• Use the work order to assess efficient and logical plan with materials and parts on hand and apply.
• Ability to self-manage your time on projects for maximum efficiency is paramount. A verbal progress.
• Ability to problem-solve independently as well as brainstorm in a team environment.
• Accurately install OEM components per all work orders.
• Ability to understand how individual components relate to the complete system in accordance with
• Ability to modify OEM or factory components as needed in accordance with the specific vehicle pattern.
• Must be able to be flexible - working on more than one project in split days.
Shop Procedure and Tool Maintenance
• Own basic tools and toolbox.
• Use and knowledge of all basic and advanced tools. Quick learner.
• Strong understanding of measurements in all units.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and efficiently organized workstation daily.
• Must help maintain a clean shop. Everyone helps clean, no exceptions.
• Own basic toolbox
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3+ years’ previous experience in the automotive restoration industry environment or other related fields of high-quality pre-1995 autos. (NOT an absolute though)
• ASE Certified
• Experience with hand and power tools with precise hand-eye coordination.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to properly install components in tight spaces of vehicles.
• Comfortable with automotive lift operation.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working independently.
• Comfortable with verbal and written direction and switching tasks as needed to meet deadlines.
• Must have extreme attention to detail and high quality workmanship.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to and from work daily.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift, carry, and place merchandise and supplies up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Frequent standing and bending for long periods of time.
• Frequent reaching overhead and below the knees, including squatting, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting.
• Long periods of time under suspended vehicle on jacks or a lift.
• Returns any unused inventory to storage and enters and keeps track of allotted vehicles to stay on schedule to meet deadlines.
• Safely operates a motor vehicle.
