Animal Rescue Foundation (ARF) of Bartlesville is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit corporation that exists solely from donations. Our rescue/adoption sanctuary is home to 50-60 dogs, puppies, cats and kittens as they wait to be adopted. Our mission is to help animals in need by providing care, reporting abuse/neglect, educating on animal welfare, promoting adoption and spay/neuter as the only solution to pet overpopulation.

Kennel Cleaners are a vital part of ARF's team in feeding/watering our animals and keeping the place clean. They are on the job when ARF is not open to the public so the shifts are unique.

Available Shift (16 hrs per week):

• Wednesdays 8AM-Noon
• Thursdays 8AM-Noon
• Saturdays 7PM-11PM
• Sundays 7PM-11PM

This position involves a lot of cleaning such as sweeping, mopping, cleaning/sanitizing dog kennels, cleaning outside runs and troughs, cleaning the dog play yard, cleaning the cat area/catio, scooping litter boxes, cleaning glass panels and other common areas. Other duties include feeding the animals, administering meds and laundry.

Cleaners are expected to:

• Follow cleaning procedures and protocols
• Adhere to safety guidelines
• Restock supplies as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements:

• Must be a pet lover and 18+ years old
• Must have valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Must be willing to work holidays if they fall during your shift
• Good communication skills to interact with other team members
• Previous kennel experience a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
• Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects
