Maui Autism Center (MAC) supports children and adults with a variety of sensory and motor differences, teaching them to coordinate their brain and body to communicate by spelling.

We are looking to train a new team member to become a specialized practitioner to work with non speaking individuals (autistic and other sensory motor).

The successful candidates will receive training; no prior spelling to communicate experience is necessary.

Skilled and trained communication regulation partners will teach purposeful motor skills centering around engaging cognitive lessons. Once mastery of motor skills are achieved, focus will expand to developing whole body purposeful movement that impacts daily living and personal goals, thus leading to greater quality of life and opportunity.  Hourly rate range is:  $25 an hour and up to start.
