Product Development Oversight and Comprehensive Project Planning:

  • Lead the definition and communication of project scope, objectives, and expectations in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Align on the strategy and approach for initiating, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing the project.
  • Build and manage the end-to-end project schedule, define the critical path, track activities to ensure functional team members are meeting agreed upon deadlines, generate, and communicate status reports, and escalate critical issues.
  • Steer cross-functional meetings to align across the engineering, manufacturing, and other divisions.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure that all activities are executed within the agreed timelines and budgets, adjusting plans as necessary to address any deviations.
  • Apply proven project management methodologies and tools to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure best practices are being met for optimal business results.

Risk Management, Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting:

  • Proactively identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks in product development and site installations, developing comprehensive strategies to navigate potential obstacles effectively.
  • Regularly assess risk management processes, adjusting strategies to align with evolving project dynamics and ensuring the highest level of project integrity.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with partners, stakeholders, and decision makers
  • Coordinate and facilitate post launch reviews and communicate key learnings and proposed continuous improvement actions.
  • Craft and present comprehensive reports that demonstrate project progression, obstacles encountered, and outcomes for both product development and demo site facets.

Project Leadership:

  • Foster collaboration amongst team members, ensuring effective information flow and timely resolution of challenges
  • Minimize risk and increase project impact by creating alternative scenarios in an agile way to ensure project performance in terms of quality, speed, cost
  • Be the guardian of project management excellence by mastering tools to deliver the highest value

Qualifications:

· A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or similar equivalent discipline.

· At least 4 years of experience in product development and project management, with a preference for candidates possessing a background in engineering or technical fields.

· A minimum of 2 years’ experience in project management preferably with multiple responsibilities.

· Demonstrated ability to navigate complex product development processes and installation blueprints.

· Advanced level of verbal and written communication skills.

· Proficiency in project management tools like MS Project, smart sheet, and MS Office suite.

· 10-15% Travel to demonstration sites for review. A valid driver’s license with insurable driving record required.

· Preferred candidate will possess relevant accreditations (e.g., PMP, CAPM) and experience in construction or commercial project management.
