Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation and cooking in a kitchen or catering setting
- Handle and prepare food according to safety and sanitation guidelines
- Use knives and other kitchen tools to chop, slice, and prepare ingredients
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting with food orders and inquiries
- Assist with food production, including measuring ingredients and following recipes
- Decorate cakes and pastries as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
Experience:
- Previous experience in the food industry or as a cook is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food handling and safety procedures is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
