I'm making a fundraising vid in cooperation with Mount Pisgah Arboretum. They got hammered by the ice storm. They are in a hurry to get this promotional vid up on their website and social media pages. We just finished recording a sweet bluegrass tune all about the area! 

I need an "editing 101" tutor for Final Cut Pro 10, which I just purchased.

All we're doing is making a pretty slide show, with basic titles front and back. 

We have glorious nature pix and a helpless editor (who made several successful projects on FCP7), but I'm strapped for time and focus. I can't even figure out how to fade shots in and out. 

I'm guessing an hour of “tutoring” would be all I'd need, and I'll pay $40/hr (at least $40, regardless of how short a time it takes).
