WeHo Dodgeball League - Referee Position 

Are you passionate about officiating and ensuring fair play in sports? Join our team as a Referee for Weho Dodgeball! If you have a background in playing or refereeing sports such as dodgeball, volleyball, or basketball, and are eager to contribute to a lively and social dodgeball league, we want to hear from you. 

Position: Dodgeball League Referee Commitment: 4 hours per week (2 hours on Tuesdays, 2 hours on Thursdays) 
Duration: Seasonal: February to April (opportunity to also do June-August & October -December)

Responsibilities: 
- Enforce league rules and regulations during dodgeball games to ensure fair play and sportsmanship. 

- Maintain positive and respectful communication with players while addressing any rule-related inquiries. 

- Ensure all participants adhere to league rules and promptly address any violations. 

- Effectively handle on-court disputes and conflicts, promoting a positive playing environment. 

- Assist with the setup and breakdown of game equipment and ensure the smooth flow of each game session. 

Qualifications: 

- Previous experience playing or refereeing in sports

- basic knowledge of dodgeball rules and regulations (we will train you)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

- Ability to make quick and fair decisions in a dynamic game environment. 

- Flexibility to work evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

Referees will be paid $30 per hour, totaling $60 per evening.
