Retail Sales Associate

Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers
- Assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations
- Process customer orders and returns accurately and efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of our product selection to answer questions or relay questions to owner
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional manner
- Assist store owner in the opening/closing of the store as needed
- Assist in maintaining engaging and creative displays to increase sales
- Loading, unloading and stocking of merchandise according to established procedures, in order to ensure that the store is well stocked and that inventory counts are accurate.

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Strong phone etiquette and active listening skills
- Must be comfortable interacting with dogs and/or cats and their owners - Passionate about animals and pet care
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Strong time management abilities
- Experience in retail sales is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with Square point-of-sale (POS) systems is a plus
