<p>Advanced Security Solutions is currently looking for crossing guards for the Glenview School District. <strong>Shifts are between 1hr-1.5hr long (2 shifts: AM and PM-MUST WORK BOTH), we will pay a minimum of 3hrs per day.</strong></p><p>Duties:</p><p>- Observe, Report, Deter.</p><p>- Safely guide pedestrians, especially children, across designated crosswalks</p><p>- Ensure the safety of pedestrians by monitoring traffic flow and controlling the movement of pedestrians</p><p>- Communicate with drivers to ensure they are aware of pedestrians and adhere to traffic laws</p><p>- Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities or special needs in crossing the street</p><p>- Maintain a visible presence and act as a deterrent to potential traffic violations near the crosswalk</p><p>- Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines related to crossing guard duties</p><p>- Report any incidents or concerns to appropriate authorities</p><p>-Other duties as assigned</p><p>Qualifications:</p><p>- Knowledge of EPA, HIPAA, and OSHA compliance management is a plus</p><p>- Ability to effectively communicate with individuals of diverse backgrounds and age groups</p><p>- Strong attention to detail and ability to remain alert and focused during shifts</p><p>- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and withstand various weather conditions</p><p>- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols</p><p>- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently</p><p>Note: Prior experience as a crossing guard is not required, but preferred (training will be provided).</p><p>We’re an equal opportunity employer.
