Holt Surveying and Mapping, Inc., is a small company that has experienced substantial growth.

Rick L. Holt, Owner/President has 35 years of experience in surveying. His knowledge is invaluable and the level of professionalism is unmatched.

We are looking to hire a Surveying and Mapping Technician with some experience preferred.

Surveying and Mapping Technician's duties -

*Use AutoCAD software to produce detailed subdivision maps, ALTA surveys, topographic surveys, and other various survey related maps or exhibits.

*Research boundary and easement title documents and perform boundary analysis

*Use field crew data files (CSV & job files), field sketches, photos, and reference maps to create surveys

*Verify completeness and suitability of survey data as it pertains to project deliverables

*Prepare legal descriptions and exhibits for right of way, easements, acquisition parcels, etc.

*Must possess strong verbal/written communication skills, the ability to produce work independently, and effectively coordinate with team members

*Report job discrepancies in a timely manner to team leads and management

*Proactive and organized, the candidate effectively manages multiple concurrent projects while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and meeting deadlines

*Additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned

This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is: Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneous

Requirements:

· Associate degree or higher is preferred but not required

· Working knowledge of land development desktop, AutoCAD

· Prior relevant experience (6 months+ )

· Strong communication (written & verbal) and technical skills

· Ability to work independently and in a team environment

· Can self-manage priorities, and discuss issues to management

· Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
