About Us: Perspectives Academy is dedicated to providing innovative and student-centered therapeutic educational experiences. We are seeking a passionate and dynamic teacher for our middle school program. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with students who benefit from a personalized and alternative approach to learning.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the needs of students in an alternative education setting.

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and collaboration with teachers, counselors and related services.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.

Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to address diverse learning styles and abilities.

Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed to ensure academic growth.

Administer assessments and analyze data to create IEP goals and objectives.

Track student academic and IEP progress via data collection, performance review

Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create a cohesive and supportive learning community.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

Middle school teaching experience is highly desirable.

Knowledge of alternative education methodologies and a willingness to explore innovative teaching approaches.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to adapt to the unique needs and challenges of students in an alternative education setting.

Intervention Specialist certification is preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
