This person is responsible for safe delivery and application of PHC services, including, but not limited to defensive driving of a PHC vehicle, monitoring pests, application of pesticides, and communicating with customers. The PHC Specialist is under direct supervision of our Tree Division Manager.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in the plant health care industry as well as a passion for tree and shrub care

The ability to identify and differentiate plant species, diagnose and treat insect and disease problems. specific to individual plants. A strong work ethic, a positive attitude, a willingness to expand your knowledge, work independently, and excellent customer service skills are also required.

The ability to track and order inventory

Good record keeping skills

1 year of applicable experience in the Plant Health Care field.

A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Good physical condition with the ability to work in all weather conditions

Excellent verbal, written, technological and communication skills

Valid Massachusetts core pesticide license preferred

Arborist certification preferred but not mandatory

Position Details:

Compensation: $28-35/hr depending on qualifications

Full-Time. Year-round position if interested in tree care in addition to the PHC role
