Quality Inspector
- Perform capability studies and first article inspections on new parts, production set-up and in-process dimensional inspections & analysis on production parts to assure compliance to internal and customer requirements. Assist with receiving inspection.
- Perform statistical process control studies in conformance with internal and customer procedures and requirements.
- Use precision mechanical and electronic inspection equipment to measure and record dimensional readings.
- Catalog and retain production samples, document and maintain records of inspection results in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain and archive all production records.
- Monitor scrap and rejection logs, complete non-conforming notices and tags.
- Assist in the preparation and implementation of quality inspection plans and sampling schedules as necessary.
- Assist coordinating functions of the QA Department with production and shipping.
- Assist in the investigation of customer / supplier rejections.
- Ensure that QA equipment and facilities are protected and maintained in good working order.
