The Mental Health Clinician will provide counseling services to individuals, couples and families in office and/or virtually. Clinician should be familiar with implementing various evidenced based modalities such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and TFCBT. The contracted clinician will be expected to work at minimum 10-15 hours per week. This position can grow into a caseload of at least 25-30. Provisionally Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors and Provisionally Licensed Clinical Social Workers encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities Include:
· Group, family, and individual therapy utilizing DBT, CBT, TFCBT, etc.
· Maximum caseload of 10-15 clients
· Psychoeducation
· Comprehensive treatment planning and documentation within a fully integrated Electronic Clinical Record
· Discharge planning and appropriate community linkage for continuity of care
· Ongoing risk assessments
This candidate should have a thorough knowledge of mental illness, treatment planning, documentation and the continuum of care. Can establish harmonious relationships with patients, staff and community/agency personnel. Can maintain and prepare accurate reports and records. Has ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
Education Requirements:
LCMHCA , LCMHC, LCSW or LCSWA; Master's Level; Current License in NC
