Sick of working toward someone else’s success?  If the dream is to run your own business, we’ve got the job for you!  The Plate in Milton Marketplace is looking for talented individuals who were either born with, or have caught, the entrepreneurial spirit.  We’ll provide you with the opportunity to train as an Owner, Chef, General Manager, and Baker upon completing training for each of our hourly positions…all while earning a livable wage!

The Plate is an award-winning restaurant where we serve breakfast and lunch Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 am – 2:00 pm.  Our thoughtfully made menus include both items for guests to enjoy in our cozy dining room, as well as retail take-home products to make selections from.  The Plate has an outstanding culinary team matched with a friendly and knowledgeable Front of the House team to serve our guests.

While working with us at The Plate you can expect to learn the following aspects of running your own business: business branding and marketing; licensing and certifications; interviewing, hiring, training and payroll; building and dissecting of profit and loss statements; and, of course, managing your employees.  This is a unique position that we are creating in an effort to continue establishing our brand at The Plate, as well as collaborate with young individuals thirsty to start their own business adventure.
