The D.D. Reckner Co. (est. 1965), a 3rd-generation, family-owned food brokerage serving the Midwest, is looking for a self-motivated, driven person to join the team in our corporate headquarters in Westerville. We are a sales agency with offices covering Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, WV, and Western PA. We represent 40+ manufacturers such as Daisy Brand and Impossible to foodservice customers. Our products are marketed to restaurants, hotels, nursing homes, caterers, hospitals, colleges and universities, schools K-12 and more.

Job Description: M-F 8:00-5:00 with an hour for lunch.

As a broker CSR, you will work with our sales team and also as a middle-man between customers and manufacturers. As such responsibilities include:

• Data entry
• Order entry - receiving orders from customers and placing with manufacturers
• Resolving customer issues and complaints
• Managing multi-line phone system
• Supporting sales staff
• Light office cleaning/straightening up, filing, etc.

We're looking for:

• Customer Service experience
• Effective written and oral communication skills required
• Graphic design/marketing/social media skill a plus
• A friendly, outgoing, and pleasantly persistent personality
• A detail-oriented problem solver
• Strong typing skills - including 10-key
• Basic computer background, including Microsoft Office experience
• Effective time management skills are critical
• A self-starter that is motivated, capable of taking direction, and understands that the job demands a keen sense of urgency
