Abacus Cabinetry is a distinguished custom cabinet shop in Denver, CO specializing in high-end residential projects. We seek a candidate who will help with all aspects of the design process, particularly kitchen and bath design. We are looking for someone with a passion for design, a commitment to detail, a love for collaboration, and a desire to help our clients achieve their design goals. We aim to offer our clients the highest level of service, our most creative, thoughtful and excellent work and a respectful, considerate (and fun!) design experience.

Responsibilities:
- Measure spaces (remodel) or input construction drawings (new construction)
- Develop floor plans, elevations, layouts using design software
- Develop concept boards based on client input
- Develop layouts and design ideas in a manner consistent with the client’s desired aesthetic and needs
- Assist with client on selections (Cabinet door style, color, hardware, countertops)
- Prepare design presentations for clients to review layouts, styling, finishes, etc.
- Onsite as needed to resolve design challenges that arise during installations

Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Interior Designer or similar role
- Proficiency in a design software such as 2020 Design Live, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Chief Architect
- Strong knowledge of drafting techniques and principles
- Excellent creativity and artistic skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Sales experience is preferred
