We are looking for highly motivated and skilled technician with significant integration experience and strong customer service orientation.

We have an immediate opening for a AV Communications Installer/Technician to install and service Audio / Video systems, CCTV surveillance, access control, data and telephone systems. Applicant must be able to install and troubleshoot systems from beginning to end. This position is hourly-based with occasional over time hours. The ideal candidate should have pride in his work, hands on experience, a professional demeanor, attention to customer satisfaction, leadership skills, a NON-smoker is preferred and most importantly be a team player with a great attitude.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

-Commericial & Residential Prewire, equipment mounting, speaker installation, home theater installation, network and telephone jacking, punch down of patch panel and 66 block terminations, all parameters of pre-final AV installation work and more.

-Open to continual learning of new products, upgrades, and software programs related to systems, and training.

-Interact and coordinate with high end clientele, designers and contractors.

-Be responsible for the overall organization and lead role in managing the implementation and completion of projects.

-Testing and troubleshooting of various kinds of systems.

-You will be asked to handle other duties related to the success of a project as needed.

-Ensure that all the work is completed in a craftsman-like manner, cleaned up afterwards and to the satisfaction of the customer.

-Manage any discrepancies that affect the quality, function or safety of the specified system.

-Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

REQUIREMENTS:

-Must have a valid Driver License as company vehicle will be driven daily.

-Must have experience in the low voltage and custom AV field.

-Must have wire termination experience in all aspects of low voltage connections.

-The ability to lift at least 50lbs, work on a ladder at least 8 feet tall and work in confined spaces (attics, crawl spaces, etc...)

-Must have own tools or ready to purchase tools immediately upon hiring.

-Must have general mounting knowledge of TV's and speakers to walls and ceilings.

-Must be familiar with power tools and construction standards.

-Basic electrical knowledge is a plus.

-Industry certification (CEDIA, Polycom, Control4, etc.) are a plus.

-Wage and benefits are negotiable based on qualifications, attitude and experience.

-Daily Company Vehicle to drive to and from all jobs will be provided.
