Gulf Stream School’s Delray Campus Early Childhood Academy provides services to children 1-3 years of age. We are an independent school of approximately 50 students, in Delray Beach, Fl. Our organization is currently seeking a full-time, Preschool Lead Teacher to begin January 3, 2024. The hours are daily from 7:45-3:30. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Early Childhood Education or a related academic field. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must, as is a desire to work as part of a strong team. Competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities Include but are not Limited to:

• Develop a robust and dynamic program to meet the needs of modern learners
• Meet every child’s needs: emotional, social, physical, and academic
• Create innovation in learning
• Record school, classroom, and student information student files, progress reports and referrals
• Create and maintain a student portfolio that would reflect children’s growth, learning and development
• Participate in monthly division meetings, weekly planning, School related events and meetings prior to the School year begins and ends.
• Supervise assistant teacher and/or parent volunteers
• Communicate with parents on a regular basis
• Assist students in potty training and develop self-discipline and a sense of responsibility for all students
• Complete all required DCF paperwork, including the initial 45 mandatory training, CPR and Fingerprints
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Certifications:

• Must be CPR certified or be willing to become certified within first 90 days of employment. 
• Previous childcare experience required.
• Experience in Early childhood education a plus
