Purpose of the Job:

• The role of the Worship Pastor is to serve God and our congregation in coordinating and leading  the worship ministry at Your Venture Church.  The Worship Pastor takes on the responsibility of guarding the spiritual culture and character of the worship ministry and its full and part-time (“Staff”), Venture Dream Team and other people or groups as assigned by the Worship Pastor.

Experience and Knowledge Required/Preferred:

• Minimum of 2 years of worship leading or assisting leading in a local church.
• Ability to handle multiple projects effectively.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Ability to learn and use multi-tracks software.
• Ability to learn and use Planning Center Online software.
• Proficiency in voice and piano or guitar.
• Ability to create, coordinate and lead a worship experience with a team.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Worship Leader of all Venture Church.
• Lead and manage the Venture’s Worship Team and Production team.
• Oversee the coordination of Venture’s Worship Team Nights.
• Oversee the scheduling of all Venture Worship Team.
• Oversee the structures and systems of Venture Worship.
• Oversee the Music facilitation in Adventure Kids Department.
• Oversee the recording and administration of any potential recording.
• Oversee all Audio and Visual aspects of Venture Church.
• Plan and implement Venture Worship projects and department goals.
• Assist with training and resourcing of potential future Venture Worship members.
• Run auditions for all musicians and vocalists.
• Fulfill the requirements and faithfully perform the duties of “Pastor” at Venture Church

to the best of their ability.

• Knowledge of all aspects of production.
• Work with productions manager for new technology, upgrades, and customizations.
• Collaboration and assistance in all online production and online presence.
• Holding each team member and production to a high standard of quality.

• Conduct research at other large churches regarding their approach to worship/music ministry.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Provide direct leadership, discipleship, and management of the any current and future worship and production staff.
