Bonny Doon Community Preschool is looking to add a Part Time support Teacher for our mountain preschool program as well as add Subs to our list. PT days are negotiable. Training begins immediately.

Bonny Doon Community Preschool is a privately run, nonprofit, nonsectarian preschool.
We provide a safe, child-centered, developmentally, age-appropriate learning environment where children can learn and develop through play at their own individual pace. Our school is located in the beautiful redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains.

We are looking to employ an experienced and qualified teacher who is warm and nurturing, who understands child development and can apply their knowledge in the classroom. Our staff is committed to meeting the developmental needs of the children (ages 2.5-5) and follow the NAEYC Code of Ethics.


The candidate ideally should have 12 college units of ECE or Child Development units, or be enrolled currently working toward this goal. The candidate should also have at least 1 year of practical teaching experience in a child care setting. Transcripts from the approved college must verify the coursework. Knowledge of Constructivist, play-based and/or Reggio Emilia a plus.

Compensation: $18-$21 based upon experience.
