Position Overview: As a Life and Health Licensed Team Member, you will play a vital role in supporting the operations and success of a life and health insurance team. This position requires an active life and health insurance license, as well as knowledge of insurance products and industry regulations. You will work closely with insurance agents, policyholders, and other team members to ensure exceptional customer service, efficient operations, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Insurance Sales Support: Assist insurance agents in the sales process by providing information about life and health insurance products, generating quotes, and preparing sales presentations and proposals.

Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries and provide prompt and accurate responses regarding insurance policies, coverage details, claims, and premium payments. Address customer concerns and resolve issues in a professional and satisfactory manner.

Policy Administration: Process new insurance applications, policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations. Ensure accuracy and completeness of policy documentation, including data entry and maintenance of electronic records.

Compliance and Regulations: Stay updated on industry trends, insurance regulations, and product knowledge. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies to protect customers' interests and maintain ethical standards.

Claims Assistance: Assist policyholders in filing and tracking life and health insurance claims. Collaborate with claims adjusters, underwriters, and other team members to ensure timely and accurate claim processing.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with insurance agents, underwriters, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow, effective communication, and a positive team environment. Provide support and assistance as needed.

Training and Professional Development: Participate in training sessions, workshops, and seminars to enhance knowledge of insurance products, industry updates, and sales techniques. Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Active Life and Health Insurance License within 30 days of hire 
    (WILL PROVIDE STUDY MATERIALS AND TIMELINE)
  • Strong knowledge of life and health insurance products, policies, and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer-oriented with a strong focus on providing exceptional service
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in using insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multitask and handle a high volume of inquiries and administrative tasks
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ethical and professional conduct in dealing with sensitive customer information
