We offer class-based group training sessions, private one-on-one sessions, and semi-private training sessions. This is the place where we see you for you and take you to where you want to be. Our focus is on full body circuits, strength, and endurance training. We wish for everyone who joins us to create, maintain and build full, active lives through functional fitness. Exercise is an expression of love for our bodies, not hate. Whether it be to build a better booty, regain a certain physique or improve functionality, we are here to provide you with the tools you need to create lifelong success.

Flex Fit is looking for an additional member for our team! We are a close-knit and boutique gym. Our community comes first. We are dedicated to making Woodland stronger one person at a time. We pride ourselves on being able to meet people where they are at, no matter where they are in their fitness journey. We are looking for a coach to embrace our member first mentality and offer a motivating presence to help folks move in a safe, proper and progressive manner. A person that would be a great fit is someone who is accountable for themselves and keep other accountable. You are evidence and science-based knowledge forward as well as an effective communicator. We are primarily group fitness based so experience in this setting is preferred, however, we are willing to train the right individual if necessary.

 

Responsibilities:
- Implement personalized fitness programs for clients based on their goals and abilities in a group setting
- Conduct fitness assessments and track clients' progress over time
- Provide instruction and guidance on proper exercise techniques and form
- Motivate and inspire clients to achieve their fitness goals
- Monitor clients' workouts to ensure safety and proper execution of exercises including, but not limited to, providing modifications and progressions as needed for each individual.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workout environment

 

Qualifications:
- Dedicated to improving the physical health of our small gym community.

- Certification in personal training or related field (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM)
- Experience working with clients of all ages and fitness levels with the ability to provide safe modifications and progressions based on each individual member.
- Strong knowledge of sports coaching, physical education, and behavior management techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve their fitness goals

 

Times/Hours Preferred:

- Tuesday and Thursdays (5am-7am, 9am-10am) plus occasional Saturdays (7am-9am). Some evenings may be available dependent on applicant.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 – 8 per week

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Evening shift

 

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus opportunities
  • Commission pay
