
Registered Behavior Technicians(RBT) provide 1-on-1 care to children with autism through ABA behavior interventions. Behavior techs provide services in our clinics, family homes, and the community. An RBT works alongside a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), who will create the therapy plan and monitor progress.

Responsibilities:
- Provide 1-on-1 direct care to children with autism in clinics, at home, or in the community.
- Manageable case load
- Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments and positive reinforcement.
- Implement therapy sessions designed by a BCBA.
- Establish a relationship with the client to assess interests and motivators to effectively implement the behavior plan.
- Accurately collect unbiased behavior data during sessions.
- Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training.
- Communicate proactively with fellow RBTs, BCBAs, families, and Clinical Directors to support the clients’ needs.
- Maintain BACB Ethical Compliance Code for RBTs.
Qualifications:
- ✓ High diploma or equivalent required (associate or bachelor’s degree in a human services area preferred).
- ✓ Being comfortable working with children.
- ✓ Ability to perform physical tasks, including prolonged periods of walking, running, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and stooping.
- ✓ Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- ✓ Strong communication skills for speaking with clients’ families and writing session notes.
- ✓ Confident interpersonal skills for interactions with the clients’ families.
- ✓ Complete company provided RBT training and pass the RBT exam (within 90-days after hire).
- ✓ Reliable transportation (valid driver’s license preferred).
- ✓ 1 year of experience working with children is preferred but not required.
