About the Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in providing exceptional care for individuals with developmental disabilities. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and happiness of our clients, helping them achieve their personal goals and live fulfilling lives.

• Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting.
• Implement Individual Program Plans (IPPs) to promote individual growth and development.
• Encourage participation in community activities and social interactions.
• Monitor and maintain a safe and healthy living environment.
• Document observations and report any changes in client condition.
• Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive care.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect for client privacy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Strong understanding of developmental disabilities and related behaviors
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
