Our growing and dynamic multidisciplinary therapy practice, which focuses on utilization of integrative manual therapy to treat complex neurological and pain disorders, is looking for a Manual Therapist to join our practice. We’re looking for a compassionate, collaborative, forward-thinking Therapist who excels at assessing patients’ strengths and weaknesses and devising creative, but effective treatment plans. We treat a wide variety of patients, from professional athletes to the retiree who wants to hike again. We operate a high-energy, positive-thinking, research driven environment that allows us to offer cutting-edge therapy approaches to help our patients achieve their goals. Elevated Performance and Rehabilitation was rebranded two years ago, formerly known as the Positional Release Therapy Institute, which was established in 2008 and has been in operation in Ogden, Utah since 2011. We not only treat patients in Ogden, but also conduct manual therapy courses and research at our Ogden location, in the US and abroad.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer or other qualified health care provider who specializes in manual therapy
  • Utah State Licensure eligible
  • Must carry professional liability insurance
  • Must carry current training in CPR/AED and first aid
  • 2-3 years experience preferred, new graduates considered

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training and/or certification in Manual Therapy, such as Positional Release Therapy, Mulligan Concept, Strain Counterstrain, dry needling or other related therapies

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assess client’s medical history, symptoms, and other relevant information to formulate a plan of treatment
  • Apply proper pressure to the client to avoid injury and bruising
  • Work collaboratively with practitioners and other health care practitioners outside of clinic to provide the client with the best therapy possible
  • Maintain record of treatments, evaluation, progress notes
  • Communicate and coordinate with referring physicians to ensure a consistent level of care
  • Assist administrative staff with billing and reporting inquiries

  • Pay based on qualifications and experience
  • Flexible hours and scheduling
  • Potential to engage in research projects and teaching at the Positional Release Therapy Institute and abroad
  • Annual 1K CE allowance
  • In-house training courses in manual therapy provided at no cost (Approx. 8k benefit)
  • In-house mentoring/training in manual therapy (1-2 hours/wk)
