JOB REQUIREMENTS

NJ Cosmetology License or Permit IS required.

Must be computer proficient with great communication and customer service skills.

We are an education driven salon and have an assistant program. We are looking for passionate and education driven applicants.

Today's assistant is tomorrows stylist!

Responsibilities/ Requirements Include...but not limited to:

-Being able to provide a shampoo service.

-Greet and set up clients before they receive their service and provide client with a refreshment.

-Sweep, clean, sanitize and disinfect the salon premises on a daily basis.

-Must be friendly and upbeat towards clients.

-Provide good communication and organizational skills as well as multitask on busier days.

-Responsible in makingsure clients are well taken care of before, during and after their service.

-Eager to learn while assisting other stylists while working on clients.

-Must exude a professional image and positive energy at all times.

This is an hourly paid position, with Avanti Day Resort discounts and benefits after grace period.

Flexible hours are required that include nights and weekends.

FULL TIME & part time available immediately.
