Christmas Supercenter is a Christmas pop-op store open from November through January 15th. We sell Christmas and Holiday items - artificial trees, wreaths, decorations and ornaments. 

Job Description: Cashier/Shop Assistant 

 Processing customer payments at the checkout point/till * Addressing customer complaints and inquiries * Providing shopping advice and recommendations to customers * Cleaning and rearranging the store after hours * Performing periodic price audits to resolve price discrepancies * Collaborating with other team members to keep the sales floor area clean and organised at all times * Scanning items and explaining prices to customers * Removing security tags and wrapping other items * Taking a tally of the till, when required during a shift and producing transaction reports * Performing basic maths functions to collect payments and give change * Collect payments and bag purchases for customers * Asking customers about their shopping experience for exceptional customer service * Using specific till technology such as registers, scanners, scales and credit/debit card terminals * Processing coupons and vouchers * Balancing the till at the end of the day and maintaining an accurate cash drawer * Checking stock and refilling shelves * Keeping the checkout area, clean and orderly Receiving, unpacking and arranging new shipments from suppliers and vendors * Arranging and labelling goods in the display shelves * Assisting customers in finding the products they’re looking for *
