The Call Center Representative is responsible for helping customers with things such as planning vacations, packing tips, aiding with sightseeing strategies, researching/troubleshooting customers’ travel-related problems, and providing excellent customer service.
To be successful in this role, you must have strong attention to detail as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. You must also be able to think on your feet, multitask, and have a degree of persuasiveness concerning travel-related services.
Responsibilities:
• Handling inbound and outbound calls from customers in a professional manner
• Assisting customers with all aspects of their travel-related needs
• Running credit card and other transactions, processing payments
• Problem solving customer requests and providing timely facts/information
• Providing up-to-date information and measuring trends
• Keeping records of customer interactions
• Advising customers on suitable travel arrangements
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working experience
• Previous call center or customer service experience
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• High energy and a cheerful, positive attitude
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
